My name is Elizabeth, and I am the owner of Elizabeth's Place. Our family consists of 3 amazing kids, a wonderful husband, 2 stubborn dogs and 2 adorable cats.
I am a Girl Scout Troop leader for two community troops (21097 Cadettes and Ambassadors and 21802 Daisy, Brownies, and Juniors). I am a Sunday school teacher (catechist) at St. Monica's for the 7th grade class, a volunteer at a local food pantry, a volunteer angel for chemo patients, and a volunteer chef with Lasagna Love. I am licensed with the state of Illinois as an early childhood education teacher Kindergarten to 2nd grade and also have my Early Childhood Education Credentials for Infancy to Preschool. During my (limited!) free time, I love going on road trips with my family. I am bilingual and my daycare offers a beautiful blend of Spanish and English for children to blossom.
I have been a licensed family daycare provider for over 15 years, and it has gone by so fast! I love working with children and I love the relationships that we have built with families throughout the years. It is such an honor to run into some of my older daycare families and hear about how their kids still remember how much fun it was hanging out at daycare.
